Bada Bum

Posted by Kacii on Tuesday, July 12, 2011, In : Writing
Hmm, so lately I've re-thought my idea of Syren. I think I will continue writing it. Well, I already have. I just published another chapter. But if your too lazy to see it then here it is:

I felt sick to my stomach. Kelly believed her. Kelly believed that the Syren was telling the truth. He believed that… monster over his faith in me. But really, I was to blame for that. All of those images were true.

But she only showed part of the truth. The demon. She didn’...

Absurd Insanity

Posted by Kacii on Friday, June 3, 2011, In : Writing
Sorry for not coming through with that chapter people! I really did want to publish it last weekend, but annoyingly I had to do a bunch of homework so I didn't get a chance to finish it. And this weeks been really busy for me what with rehersel for the Tempest, by William Shakespeare (dunno if I spelled that right and I honestly do not care. I don't like his work but I have been cornered into doing this play which gives me less time to wright! Grrr) and with exams coming up in one week.

Insomniac

Posted by Kacii on Saturday, May 28, 2011, In : Writing
Ohmigod I'm exhausted. I have missed my school bus every day this week. Kind of sad, don't you think? But what's weird is I go to bed fairly early. I just can't fall asleep once I'm in bed. I am having terrible insomnia and it doesn't help that one of my cats sleeps on my bed then gets up to walk to the other side of the bed every half hour.
So if you're wondering why I did such a short, crappy chapter, you now know why. But hey, I might as well give you a little insight on what's to c...

Pirates Of The Carribean: On Stranger Tides

Posted by Kacii on Saturday, May 21, 2011, In : Writing
I've been waiting for this movie to come out forever! I have this app on my iPod called Flixster which tells me when movies are going to come out in the theaters, on dvd, and all that good stuff. If you're a fan of the Twilight Saga then part one of Breaking Dawn comes out on November 18th, I believe.
Anyway, since I've known about the new Pirates of the Carribean movie coming out since like christmas I've been exeberant (right word? yes? no?) So I'm excited about that. Can't wait to s...

POV

Posted by Kacii on Friday, May 6, 2011, In : Writing
Okay! So I'm happy to say that 'Falling Parallel' has made a nice start. I think it's got twelve likes so far, which might not seem like a lot, but it means a lot to me. I didn't know how people were going to react to Falling Parallel. It's rough and rushed, only a rough draft.
So now that I know that I'm not going to delete it because of it's different personality as a story, I can relax and start to think about what comes next.
I have a huge problem, actually. With Syren I'm start...

Falling Parallel

Posted by Kacii on Saturday, April 30, 2011, In : Backround Info
Okay, so I've just added the chapter after the one you would want to kill me about. In Syren, that is. I feel exhausted. 2,755 words in three hours. I'm not a slow typer, I am just easily distracted. Anywho, I think I have come up with a temporary name for the story about parallel universes. As you've probably guessed, it's temporary name is 'Falling Parallel.'
But oh my God I'm exhausted. I don't know if I can write much more today. And surprisingly hungry. There's not a lot of vegeta...

Please Don't Kill Me!

Posted by Kacii on Wednesday, April 27, 2011, In : Backround Info
Okay, for those of you who have been reading Syren, and have just read the chapter 'Love?' you probably hate my guts right now. How could I end it like that? How could I just leave the reader wondering what on earth is gonna happen next? Are Lily and Amias going to make up? Or are they going to follow the snowball effect, letting there problems increse and go down hill>
Well I'm keeping my mouth shut on this one. I have to say, I didn't intend for there to be a fight between Lily and A...

Clues

Posted by Kacii on Sunday, April 24, 2011, In : Backround Info
So I have this idea, and I really love this idea, and I want to turn it into a short story/novel-in-progress. But I don't want to get distracted from writing Syren. I'm not used to writing more than one thing at once, but right now, I'm writing two things already.
You who read my novels know I'm writing Syren, while simutaneously editing Kidnapped and Dark Kiss. Oh, I just remembered something interesting, well, it might not be interesting to you, but I don't know. Dark Kiss was named ...

Love?

Posted by Kacii on Sunday, April 24, 2011, In : Backround Info
So, while being on vacation, at the beach, at the amusement park, I've noticed a lot of happy couples. It's weird, to say that I have, admittedly, observed these happy couples like lab rats, therefore making them highly uncomfortable. It's almost like I'm a mad scientist observing a specimen.
So I really thought I should do a chapter about Lily and Amias, and their feelings for each other. Because to be honest, I sort of stuffed them together. It was lust that sort of made them be mate...

About Me

Kacii What's to say? I love to read, write, cook, and eat hot sauce from the bottle. I spend most of my time traveling and either making up novel idea and occassionally writing them, or daydreaming about world where the impossible is reality. My mind is a huge multitasker, but it cannot handle mathmatics. I love mythology and have been brought up learning about other cultures myths and legends. The real world is a dull place to be, I'd rather live a fantasy. :D
