Obsidian by Jennifer L. ArmentroutMy rating: 5 of 5 starswell.... I don't think I've ever read an alien young adult romance novel. ever. I don't think I've ever read an alien book period. sure, I've seen aliens vs predators and all that, but reading about aliens? nuh-uh, not my thing. surprisingly though, this is an AMAZING book. I was skepticle, but who wouldn't be if ET just wasn't your thing? If you hate pizza (horrific, I know) then your not going to look at pizza menus every day and try n... Continue reading ...

Plague by Michael GrantMy rating: 5 of 5 starsOkay first off: Diana's pregnant? Did she learn nothing in Sex Ed about birth control? Second: Is Little Pete actually dead, or did he just go poof? Third: Will they ever get out of the FAYZ? So I'm a total idiot for not reading this book like a year ago when it actually came out. My parents had limited me to how many books I could buy. My friends always complain that I am not a normal human being, prefering the company of books rather than actual li... Continue reading ...

Bloodrose by Andrea CremerMy rating: 5 of 5 starsI think I should've read this book before 'Shatter Me' since I read it the day after... well, I guess I didn't appriciate it as much. I knew how it was going to end because I couldn't resist a peek at some of the other peoples reviews (very bad Kacii!). I did really like, I kind of wished that Ren didn't die because of his sister and because Calla should've given him a fair chance. I really wished they'd had sex, but unfortunately genies only gr... Shatter Me by Tahereh MafiMy rating: 5 of 5 starsOh.My.Freaking.Holy.Jesus.God. This has to be the best book I have ever read, and I've read quite a few books. This was so different than I expected it to be. It was amazing. Awesome. Epic. {through in uber-cool adjectives here} I mean, I knew that I would probably like, especially considering it sounded a lot like X-Men and my favorite character in X-Men is Rogue. But this was a dystopian novel, and those I usually don't dig. But I truly loved... Continue reading ...

Illusions by Aprilynne PikeMy rating: 5 of 5 starsohmyfreakingod. Okay, so most faerie books I read are good, and I like them well enough, but this is... I can't describe it, I'm at loss for words. I've always preferred fallen angel stories to most paranormal stories, but recently the tables have turned. Now I like Draki (from Sophie Jordan's Firelight series), fallen angels (Lauren Kate's Fallen Saga), Guardians [aka werewolves (from Andrea Cremer's Nightshade trilogy)], the water horses[who ... Joshua Files Invisible City by M.G. HarrisMy rating: 5 of 5 starsIn MG Harris's first installment of the Joshua Files series, 'Invisible City' sets off a good precedent. A thirteen year-old boy names Joshua, or Josh as his friends call him, investigates the disappearance of his father. The police report said that Josh's dad had been killed when his plane crashed, but Josh thinks otherwise. Josh delves into the mystery of his father’s disappearance and experiences several pulse-pounding and ... Continue reading ...

Blue Bloods by Melissa de la CruzMy rating: 4 of 5 starsI honestly think this is one of the best vampire books I have ever read. A friend of mine recommended it to me, se's one of the only people I know in person who reads the same genre as me and feels extremely passionate about the same sorts of books. This book is unique in a way that the origin of the vampires is different, and the vampires themselves have a different name. The conflict within the story is complicated, because you're payi... Firelight by Sophie JordanMy rating: 5 of 5 starsThis is one of my favorite books, and it's not just the epic love story that enticed me as a reader to keep reading,it was the abnormal creature choice. These days most people hear of Vampires and Werewolves, not so much of the other. Faeries, Shape-Shifters, Werewolves, Vampires, Fallen Angels, Witches and Wizards, and other paranormals of the nether, they all have nothing on this story. I think this is the only book I have ever read about dra... Continue reading ...

Wolfsbane by Andrea CremerMy rating: 5 of 5 starsOkay, this trilogy is AMAZING! And this book is great! The first book enticed the reader to read on, but Wolfsbane captivates the readers in an alluring trap of cliff-hangers and drama. This is the best books for a W.R.H.R. (Well Read Hopeless Romantic) The Nightshade Trilogy is extremely different from werewolf books, and I'm sure others would agree that it should never be even mention in that category of reading. It does these books no justic... Continue reading ...

The Angel Experiment by James PattersonMy rating: 5 of 5 starsFor this series, I had to say I loved it. If you're looking for a series with fancy literature and formal settings this series is NOT for you. However, if you're looking for funny, sarcastic shennanigans in a bunch of books, this is what your looking for. It's fast and well set, you won't want to put the books down. My friends would call this 'crap literature' because it doesn't focuse so much on the words as to the wording. It's a... Continue reading ...

Hush, Hush by Becca FitzpatrickMy rating: 5 of 5 starsI would recommend 'Hush Hush' by Becca Fitzpatrick to teenage girls or people who enjoy a rollercoaster ride into the Young Adult romance. Someone who likes teasings, flirtings, and little romance from the dark side would most definetly enjoy this book. In 'Hush Hush' Becca Fitzpatrick writes about a fictional character named Nora Grey. Nora Grey is smart and kind, though a little anti-social when it comes to certain things like boys. Her ... Continue reading ...

Passion by Lauren KateMy rating: 5 of 5 starsI would recommend ‘Passion’ by Lauren Kate to teenage girls, or people who enjoy a nice YA romance that involves time travel and love at its strongest. I think that this book is brilliantly written and that it captures love in its most divine form. ‘Passion’ is exactly what the reader feels when they read the epic tale of a true love story, making this book stand out among others. In ‘Passion’ Lauren Kate writes about a fictional teenag... Continue reading ...

Earth, The Universe |
What's to say? I love to read, write, cook, and eat hot sauce from the bottle. I spend most of my time traveling and either making up novel idea and occassionally writing them, or daydreaming about world where the impossible is reality. My mind is a huge multitasker, but it cannot handle mathmatics. I love mythology and have been brought up learning about other cultures myths and legends. The real world is a dull place to be, I'd rather live a fantasy. :D
